As a member congregation of the Union for Reform Judaism, the congregational arm of the Reform Movement representing some 900 congregations throughout North America, we can arrange for you to attend Rosh Hashanah and/or Yom Kippur services at most URJ member congregations.
It is advised that you send in your request by the end of July to insure seating at another congregation.
Here's what you need to do:
1. Make sure that you are in good financial standing here at your "home" congregation.
2. Send an email request for "Reciprocal High Holy Days Seating" to our past president, Alan Herzlin, at info@templebethtorah.net. You need to include the following information with your request:
-The full name of each member of your household who will need seating. This includes children. You may only request seating for those in your household who are Temple Beth Torah members.
-Your full address with zip code
-Your home telephone number
-Is your request for Rosh Hashanah only, Yom Kippur only, or both holy days?
-The name, full address and telephone number of the URJ member congregation where you wish to worship. If you need assistance finding a congregation, send Alan Herzlin a request at info@templebethtorah.net indicating in what city you plan to be.
A special letter from TBT requesting reciprocal seating will be sent to the URJ congregation of your choice asking that tickets be sent directly to you.
Please direct your questions to our past president, Alan Herzlin, at info@templebethtorah.net.
